Short answer: A Binance withdrawal whitelist restricts withdrawals to addresses you have added and verified in Address Management. After you enable it, you can only withdraw to those addresses. Adding or modifying whitelist addresses, or disabling the whitelist after a whitelist withdrawal limit was previously enabled, may temporarily suspend withdrawals for a specific time limit of 24, 48, or 72 hours. Read the timer shown in Settings instead of assuming one default cooling-off period. One-step withdrawal can send a small amount to a whitelisted address without completing 2FA, but Binance may still require 2FA after you enable that function. The whitelist does not replace passkey or 2FA, does not fix a wrong network or a missing memo or tag, and is not turned on by referral code BIMENCE.

Binance withdrawal whitelist: key takeaways
- Enabling Withdrawal Whitelist means you can only withdraw to addresses on that whitelist.
- Manage addresses under Settings → Withdrawal → Address Management. You can add one address, add multiple addresses, or set a universal address. If you select a specific crypto such as BNB, you must also select the network.
- You can add up to 200 withdrawal addresses to the whitelist.
- Modifying the withdrawal whitelist may lead to temporary withdrawal suspension for a specific time limit of 24, 48, or 72 hours. Confirm the timer on the live Settings screen.
- If you disable the whitelist after a whitelist withdrawal limit was previously enabled, withdrawals can also be temporarily suspended for a certain time limit of 24, 48, or 72 hours. Once the whitelist is disabled, the Whitelist Withdrawal Limit function is not visible, and you can withdraw to any address.
- Whitelist Withdrawal Limit suspends withdrawals to newly added whitelist addresses for a time period you select. Binance describes this as time to secure the account if a hacker adds a new address. The FAQ recommends keeping it enabled.
- One-step withdrawal applies a selected quota for small withdrawals to a whitelisted address without completing 2FA. You may still be required to complete 2FA after enabling it. Confirm the quota and any remaining 2FA prompt on screen.
- A familiar address label is not a network check. Wrong network, missing memo or tag, and extra regional prompts are still your responsibility. See Binance deposit not credited if a transfer does not arrive.
- Referral code BIMENCE does not enable, disable, or shorten whitelist settings. Bimence never requests passwords, OTP, passkeys, API secrets, seed phrases, or KYC files.
This guide is about Binance withdrawal whitelist, address book, one-step withdrawal, and whitelist withdrawal limit settings. For network-fee amounts, use the Binance withdrawal fees guide. For password, passkey, 2FA, and API credential controls, use the Binance API key security guide. How-to steps below happen only on the official Binance website or app.
What Binance withdrawal settings cover
The currently available Binance Support FAQ, How to Manage Withdrawal Settings for My Binance Account?, states that under Settings you can set a range of parameters for withdrawals. Functionalities include:
- whitelisting addresses
- adjusting time frames
- enabling one-step withdrawals
- selecting between on-chain or off-chain transfers
That FAQ does not define a universal default time frame, a universal one-step quota, or the on-chain versus off-chain choice for every asset. Confirm those live options in your account. Menu labels can differ by device and region.

How to enable the withdrawal whitelist on Binance
These steps follow the cited Binance Support FAQ. Complete them only in the official Binance website or app after you sign in.
- Log in to your Binance account and hover over the profile icon. Click Settings.
- Scroll down to the Withdrawal section. Click Enable next to Withdrawal Whitelist.
- Read the note that when you enable the function, you can only withdraw to addresses on your whitelist. Click Enable to proceed.
- Verify the request using your passkey or 2FA. The FAQ states that the withdrawal whitelist is then enabled.
Referral code BIMENCE does not enable this setting. Bimence cannot complete passkey or 2FA verification for you and does not request those codes.
How to add a withdrawal address to the whitelist
- Under Settings → Withdrawal, click Address Management.
- Hover over Add and select Add address or Add Multiple Addresses.
- Label the address using a familiar name. Then either select a crypto for the address or set it as a universal address. If you select a specific crypto (for example BNB), you must also select the network that the address belongs to.
- If you selected Address Origin (Optional), choose the appropriate origin:
- Exchange Address if the address belongs to an exchange like Binance.
- Wallet Address if the address belongs to a personal wallet.
- Other for any other address type.
- Check the box next to Add Address to Whitelist, then click Save.
- Complete 2FA to verify your request. Once verified, the address is added to your whitelist.
Note from the FAQ: Modifying the withdrawal whitelist may lead to temporary withdrawal suspension for a specific time limit (24, 48, or 72 hours). This guide does not treat 24 hours as the default. If a countdown appears, that on-screen timer is the figure to follow.
How to remove a whitelisted address
- Click the … next to the address you want to remove from the whitelist. Then select Remove from Whitelist.
- Click Remove to confirm.
Removal is still a whitelist modification. If Binance then shows a temporary withdrawal suspension, read that timer rather than assuming a standard delay.
How to disable the withdrawal whitelist
Disabling the whitelist is a security trade-off, not a shortcut. The FAQ states that once it is disabled you can withdraw to any address. Do not disable it in order to skip a wait.
- Under Settings → Withdrawal, click Disable next to Withdrawal Whitelist. Once Whitelist Withdrawal is disabled, the Whitelist Withdrawal Limit function will not be visible.
- Read the notes carefully before clicking Confirm.
- Verify the request with passkey or 2FA.
The FAQ’s disable note is specific: once the withdrawal whitelist function is disabled, you will be able to withdraw to any address. However, if you have enabled the withdrawal whitelist limit previously, your withdrawal will be temporarily suspended for a certain time limit (24, 48, or 72 hours). Confirm which of those periods, if any, is shown in your Settings.
Whitelist withdrawal limit
The whitelist withdrawal limit function suspends withdrawals to newly added whitelist addresses for a selected time period. Binance describes it as a security feature that prevents unauthorized withdrawals if a hacker adds a new address, giving you time to secure your Binance account.
- Under Settings → Withdrawal → Whitelist Withdrawal Limit, click Enable.
- Select a time period to limit withdrawals to your newly added whitelist addresses. Click Confirm.
- The FAQ states that the function is then enabled for the selected time period. To change the time period or disable it, click Manage.
- Read the notes carefully before clicking Confirm.
Once this limit is disabled, the FAQ says you will be able to withdraw to all whitelisted addresses immediately, including newly added ones. For security reasons, it is recommended to keep the whitelist withdrawal limit enabled. The available periods are the ones Binance lists in that Manage screen; this article does not invent a default period.
One-step withdrawal
The one-step withdrawal function allows you to withdraw a small amount of assets to a whitelisted address without having to complete 2FA verification. The FAQ also states that you may still be required to complete 2FA after enabling the function. Confirm both the quota and the next withdrawal prompt in your account.
- Under Settings → Withdrawal, click Enable next to One-step Withdrawal.
- Select a quota for the one-step withdrawal and click Confirm.
- Verify with your passkey or 2FA.
- To change the quota or disable the function, click Manage.
The cited FAQ does not publish a universal quota amount. Use the quota list Binance shows you. One-step withdrawal is not a reason to weaken passkey or 2FA on the rest of the account.
Delays: 24, 48, or 72 hours — read the timer
The official language is a certain or specific time limit of 24, 48, or 72 hours. It appears in two FAQ notes:
- Disabling Withdrawal Whitelist after a whitelist withdrawal limit was previously enabled.
- Modifying the withdrawal whitelist.
This guide does not convert that list into a single default of 24 hours, and it does not invent extra delay formulas. If Settings shows a countdown, that countdown is the figure that applies to the change you just made. If no timer is shown, do not assume a hidden number from this article; follow the live screen and the confirmation notes.
Wrong network, memo or tag, and extra checks
Saving an address with a familiar name does not prove that the destination can receive the asset on the network you selected. The FAQ requires a network choice when the address is tied to a specific crypto. A mismatch between asset, network, and destination format can still send funds where they cannot be credited. If a deposit to another account or wallet does not appear, use the Binance deposit not credited guide and the destination platform’s own deposit details.
A whitelist entry also does not replace a memo, tag, or payment ID when the receiving platform requires one. Confirm every destination field on the live Binance withdrawal screen before you submit. For network-fee amounts and asset-specific withdrawal costs, see Binance withdrawal fees.
Some regions show extra checks before an address can be used. The cited FAQ does not state that a Travel Rule check, a satoshi test, or any other extra verification is required for every address. If Binance shows additional prompts, follow those on-screen instructions for your account and region rather than skipping them from a generic checklist.
The whitelist is not a substitute for passkey or 2FA
Enabling the whitelist limits destination addresses. It does not replace the passkey or 2FA that Binance asks for when you enable, disable, or add addresses. One-step withdrawal can remove 2FA only for a selected small quota to a already-whitelisted address, and even then you may still be required to complete 2FA. Keep account authentication, anti-phishing, and API controls separate. If an integration uses API keys, review Binance API key security instead of treating the withdrawal whitelist as cover for a powerful key.
Where to check in your Binance account
- Open the official Binance website or app through a trusted route and sign in.
- Open the profile icon and select Settings. Labels can differ by device and region.
- Scroll to the Withdrawal section.
- Check whether Withdrawal Whitelist, One-step Withdrawal, and Whitelist Withdrawal Limit show Enable, Disable, or Manage.
- Open Address Management and verify each label, asset, network, and whitelist status. Remove any address you do not recognize.
- If a temporary withdrawal suspension is shown, read the timer on that screen. Do not substitute a number from this article.
- When you next withdraw, confirm asset, network, destination, memo or tag, and any extra regional prompt before submitting.
Never send a password, OTP, passkey, API secret, seed phrase, or KYC file to Bimence, a chat helper, or an unverified form. Bimence does not request those materials and cannot reset Binance withdrawal settings for you.
Common Binance withdrawal-whitelist mistakes
- Treating a familiar label as a network check: the name you saved does not correct a wrong chain.
- Assuming memo or tag is optional because the address is whitelisted: destination platforms can still require an extra field. Confirm on screen.
- Disabling the whitelist to skip a wait: that is not a recommended trick. After disable you can withdraw to any address, and if a whitelist limit was previously enabled, withdrawals can still be suspended for 24, 48, or 72 hours.
- Disabling Whitelist Withdrawal Limit so newly added addresses can be used immediately: the FAQ warns that this includes newly added addresses and recommends keeping the limit enabled.
- Assuming one-step withdrawal permanently removes 2FA: you may still be required to complete 2FA after enabling it.
- Inventing a default 24-hour cooling-off: the official set is 24, 48, or 72 hours. Read the timer Binance shows.
- Assuming BIMENCE turns the whitelist on or shortens a suspension: a referral code does not change security settings.
- Sending 2FA codes or screenshots of OTPs to anyone claiming they can “speed up” a whitelist delay.
Frequently asked questions
What happens after I enable the Binance withdrawal whitelist?
The cited FAQ states that you can only withdraw to addresses on your whitelist. Enable the function under Settings → Withdrawal, then add addresses in Address Management and complete passkey or 2FA when asked.
How long is the Binance whitelist cooling-off period?
There is no single default in this guide. Where the FAQ names a suspension, it is a certain or specific time limit of 24, 48, or 72 hours: after modifying the whitelist, and after disabling the whitelist if a whitelist withdrawal limit was previously enabled. Read the timer shown in Settings.
How many withdrawal addresses can I whitelist on Binance?
You can add up to 200 withdrawal addresses. Manage them under Settings → Withdrawal → Address Management.
Does one-step withdrawal mean I never use 2FA?
No. It allows a small amount to a whitelisted address without completing 2FA, but you may still be required to complete 2FA after enabling the function. Select the quota Binance offers and confirm the next withdrawal prompt.
Should I turn off the whitelist to avoid delays?
No. This guide does not treat disabling the whitelist as a way to skip a wait. Disabling it lets you withdraw to any address. If a whitelist withdrawal limit was previously enabled, withdrawals can still be temporarily suspended for 24, 48, or 72 hours. The FAQ recommends keeping the whitelist withdrawal limit enabled.
Does a whitelist replace passkey, 2FA, or a memo?
No. Address book controls destinations. Authentication still applies when Binance asks for passkey or 2FA. A memo or tag is still required when the destination needs one. Confirm those fields on the live withdrawal screen.
Does referral code BIMENCE enable the withdrawal whitelist?
No. Bimence is independent of Binance. Referral code BIMENCE does not change security settings, whitelist status, one-step quotas, or suspension timers. There is no guaranteed discount, no “lifetime” benefit, and no combined 20%+25% offer attached to this setting.
Can Bimence add an address or lift a withdrawal suspension?
No. Bimence never requests passwords, OTP, passkeys, API secrets, seed phrases, or KYC files. Manage whitelist settings inside the authenticated Binance account and use official Binance support for account incidents.
